Big Update: We’ve Upgraded Our Database!
Hey everyone! 👋
We’ve just completed a major backend upgrade — our website has officially moved from SQLite3 to MySQL. 🎉
This change might sound technical, but here’s why it matters:
✅ Faster performance: Pages and feeds will now load much quicker, even during heavy traffic.
✅ More reliable: MySQL is built to handle large amounts of data smoothly — perfect for our growing community.
✅ Scalable for the future: As we continue to grow, MySQL allows us to manage users, posts, and activities more efficiently.
During this migration, we faced a few challenges and unfortunately lost some minor profile-related data — such as friend lists or “About” details. This was a one-time issue, and we’ve already taken steps to ensure it never happens again.
Our team worked hard behind the scenes to make this transition smooth and stable. 💪
We’re now powered by a much faster, more secure system — ready for the next chapter of growth!
